Joinery
Intricate wood joinery is critical to strong and long lasting furniture. All our SHELFIE furniture embraces these intricate joints and puts them on show. Through Mortise and Tenon joints highlight the layers of our Baltic Birch ply against the vibrant colours on each end of our SHELFIEs.
Ventilated Shelf
The shelves on all of the SHELFIE family have slots in them to allow for air circulation. This looks after not only your treasured head wear but also your stunning SHELFIE by allowing everything to dry and breath.
Mounting Rail
No-one likes seeing mounting screws, but mounting still should be easy as screwing to the wall. All of our SHELFIEs are supplied with a mounting rail that is first screwed to the wall before simply slotting your SHELFIE in place, covering all screws. That's it, no fiddling around.
Materials
We use exclusive Baltic Birch Ply to craft our SHELFIE family. Birch ply is really strong and uniform and the exposed edges highlight the super attractive layers that plywood is known for. Our coloured SHELFIEs are crafted from the same Baltic Birch Ply , but are laminated with luxurus matt-finish european high pressure laminates. These are super hard wearing, velvety smooth to touch, and stunning to look at.
Colour
Our homes are where we spend most of our time, so why shouldn't it be a fun and vibrant place? All too often we play it safe when styling our homes, sticking to a limited neutral colour pallet. We think homes should be a feel-good place with stylish well-designed and vibrant furniture.
